December Bullet Journal Set Up 2019

I’m going to be very cliche here and say that I can’t believe I am writing my final monthly bullet journal post of the year. November has whizzed by and here is my December bullet journal set up for 2019.

Quick November Re-Cap

For me, November has very much been about getting my head down and working on products for my Etsy shop. I had a bit of a revelation this month, which seems to have unlocked my creativity!

I am especially loving designing my pun greeting cards. Check them out in my shop.

December Bullet Journal Supplies

The supplies I used this month are:

Now, onto my December bullet journal set up. November’s layout worked really well for me and I, therefore, used it again for this month.

For my cover page, I printed off one of my watercolour paintings using my office printer (so it is lower quality than the art prints I sell on Etsy). This painting is of a cute badger and is a personal favourite of mine! I glued it onto the left side of a double-page spread.

Above the badger, I titled the month using a font in Photoshop. And, I added a small calendar below him.

I typed the days of the week– again in Photoshop– but decided to handwrite the dates after printing as it was the quickest and easiest way to do it.

On the right-hand page, I used my blue Arteza real brush pen to separate the page into three sections. I then added the titles “goals”, “birthdays” and “important” to help keep me organised for the month ahead.

I dragged the brush pen across the page so that it created a nice watercolour effect.

DECEMBER GRATITUDE & MONTHLY HIGHLIGHTS

Next up, I have my gratitude and monthly highlights pages. These are the most simple to create.

I simply dragged my Arteza real brush pen across the top of the page and titled them using my Micron no.08 pen.

On the gratitude page, I also numbered the left side of the page. This is where I write down one line each day about something I am grateful for.

DECEMBER BULLET JOURNAL WEEKLY SPREADS

Then we’re into the December weekly spreads. Same as November, I used a double-page spread for each week.

The left-hand page is where I add a calendar to tell me which week of the month it is. And, I have space to keep myself organised for the week.

I created sections for blog post planning, Etsy shop planning, weekly to-dos and notes. I simply wrote the titles and underlined them with the blue brush pen.

On the right-hand page, I sectioned the page into seven with the blue Arteza brush pen. I then wrote the days and dates of the week.

That’s it! A super simple layout that’s quick to set up and that works well practically for me.

I hope you have been enjoyed my December bullet journal set up. I’d love to hear what your plans are for your 2020 bullet journal in the comments!
