Sponsored Posts
This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. Sponsored posts are always disclosed at the beginning of posts, using one of the following:
- AD [sponsored post]. This means I received compensation for the post but had full editorial control over the content.
- AD [post contains a paid advertisement]. This means I have been paid to include information about a product that has been written by the brand. I stipulate that this is technical information only. All opinions expressed about the brand/product remain my own.
- AD [gifted item]. The post contains an item I was sent by a brand that I have chosen to write about.
- AD [affiliate links]. If the post is solely about the product mentioned and contains affiliate links it will be disclosed as an AD, as per CAP guidelines, even if I have purchased the item myself.
Any paid social media promotion is disclosed with the hashtag #AD to identify it as a paid post.
I only work with brands, companies and services on sponsored posts that are relevant to my blog and of interest to myself and my readers. I am very select in the opportunities I work on and turn down more opportunities than I accept.
All views expressed on this blog are purely my own. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question.

I am a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for me to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
I am also a participant in affiliate programs for Affiliatly, Awin, Link Connector, Refersion, Tapfiliate, Organic Aromas and ShareASale.
In some posts, I have affiliate widgets and banners displayed. I also have an affiliate banner advertising in the sidebar under ‘AD- affiliates’.
If a blog post contains affiliate links, this is disclosed at the top of the post so that you are always informed.

I only include affiliate links to products that I personally believe are of value to my readers; those that I have used myself and would genuinely recommend to others.
