It’s hard to believe we are almost halfway through the year and it is time for my June bullet journal set up. This month, I kept things super simple with a minimalistic lavender theme.
June is shaping up to be a super exciting month for me. My brother gets married this month and I can’t wait!
Before I begin sharing my June bullet journal set up, here is a list of the materials I used:
Bullet Journal Supplies
- Leuchtturm A5 dotted notebook
- Arteza watercolour real brush pens
- Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen (hard)
- Pigma micron fine line pen (No. 02)
- Pigma micron fine line pen (No. 08)
- Pentel mechanical pencil
- Eraser
June BUllet Journal Title Page

I didn’t give myself a lot of time to set up my bullet journal this month. Therefore, I opted for simple spreads with a lot of white space.
My title page for June is a double-page spread with a quote on the left-hand page and the month’s title on the right.
The quote I chose for this month reads, “stop trying to calm the storm, calm yourself, the storm will pass“. It’s by Timber Hawkeye.
I really like this quote and it’s a reminder to focus on myself rather than trying to control everything that is going on around me.
The quote was written using my Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen (hard), which I really need to practise writing with more.
On the right-hand page, I simply wrote June using the same brush pen. Next to this, I quickly doodled a bunch of lavender using a no. 02 Pigma micron fine line pen and purple and green Arteza watercolour real brush pens.
How I draw Lavender
Lavender is a super simple doodle to draw. I start by drawing a simple line for the stem.
When drawing the flower buds, I start at the top of the stem.
Draw three small oval shapes close together (one left, one centre and one right). The middle oval should project slightly higher than the other two.
Repeat this process down the stem. The flower buds take up roughly the top third of the stem.
For some variation, I occasionally only draw two flower buds rather than three.
I coloured the flower buds using a purple Arteza watercolour real brush pen and the stem using a green one.
June Monthly Overview

I really liked my simply monthly overview layout from last month. So, I kept a similar layout for June with one exception; I merged my goals and intentions into one place to save space.
Left-hand page
At the top of the left-hand page, I created a small calendar for the month. It’s 14×9.
I highlighted the days of the week using a green Arteza watercolour real brush pen.
To the left of this, I wrote ‘June’ and highlighted this using a purple Arteza watercolour real brush pen.
To the right of the calendar, I doodled a small bunch of lavender.
Underneath the calendar, I drew a full-width box that is 11 squares high. This is a space for me to write down my goals and intentions for the month.
Below this, are two boxes that are 12×14. One is to write down birthdays and the other is to record important dates.
Right-hand Page
On the right-hand page, I drew two full-width boxes.
The first is 9 squares high and is a space for me to write down any blog post ideas.
The second box is 16 squares high and is an area for me to write down any business income and expenses. I changed this from “blog” to “business” following the opening of my Etsy shop.
I do, of course, keep accounts properly but I like to jot things down in my bullet journal too.
All box titles across the two pages have been written with a no.08 Pigma micron fine line pen and highlighted using my green Arteza watercolour real brush pen.
Gratitude & Highlights page
For my gratitude and highlights pages, I created a border around both pages using my no. 02 Pigma micron fine line pen.
Next, I wrote 1-30 down the inside of the left-hand box, which is where I write one line of gratitude for each day.
I titled the left page “Gratitude” and the right page “Highlights” with the no.08 Pigma micron fine line pen and highlighted these using my green Arteza watercolour real brush pen.
On the right-hand page, I will record any memories from the month.
In the bottom corner of both boxes, I doodled some lavender.

June Bullet Journal Weekly Spread

I decided to change up my weekly layout for June.
In the top-left, I drew a 9×8 box for a small monthly calendar. I then highlighted the week using the same purple Arteza watercolour real brush pen.
Next, I drew boxes that are 13×12 for the days of the week, which are spread across both pages.
Underneath these on the left-hand page, I drew two boxes; one is 10×2 titled “personal” and the other is 11×2 and titled “business”. Under these I will record personal and business to-dos for the week.
On the right page, adjacent to these, I drew an 11×2 box titled “notes”. There is plenty of space underneath to make notes underneath.
Finally, I have drawn a lavender doodle in the top-left and bottom-right corners of the spread.
So, that’s it for my June bullet journal set up. You may have noticed that I didn’t include any habit trackers again this month.
I stopped using habit trackers last month and it’s actually been quite freeing! If I want to create a new habit, I’d use them but I think it’s more beneficial for me to go without them otherwise.
Personally, I was becoming too obsessed with how much I was doing and how this related to my symptoms. Which, actually, I found to be counterproductive.
Being more relaxed about things and going with the flow suits me much better.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my minimalistic lavender theme. And, if you bullet journal I’d love to see your spreads for june.
