Are you ready for some Spring bullet journal inspiration? This month, I decided to fill my April bullet journal pages with yellow daffodils.
I took inspiration from my (almost) daily walks. Daffodils are starting to spring up and the sight of them fills me with happiness.
Daffodils are such beautiful flowers and a definite sign that longer, warmer days are just around the corner. Which are very welcome as far as I’m concerned!
Bullet Journal Supplies
This month, I used the following bullet journal supplies:
- Leuchtturm A5 dotted notebook
- Arteza watercolour real brush pens
- Crayola Supertip markers
- Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen (hard)
- Pigma micron fine line pen (No. 03)
- Pentel mechanical pencil
- Eraser
April Cover Page
I opted for a double-page spread for my cover page. On the left-hand page, I have written a quote by Maya Angelou that reads:
Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.
This was a quote that someone shared with me on my Instagram and it resonated with me. Recovering from chronic illness can feel overwhelming at times.
This quote serves as a reminder that I’m doing the best I can with what I’ve got. But to remain open to the possibility of growth and improvement.

I titled the right-hand page with my Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen (hard) and surrounded the lettering with bright illustrations of daffodils. If anyone would like me to do a post on how I draw flower illustrations like these, let me know in the comments below.
I used my Arteza watercolour real brush pens to colour in the flowers. Then freehanded a border around the pages using an orange Crayola Supertip marker.
April Bullet Journal Monthly Overview
Similar to what I did in March, I opted for a full calendar view for my monthly overview spread. I drew boxes that are 6×6 for each day of the month using a No. 3 Pigma micron fine line pen.
I also used my micron pen to title the days of the week in boxes and coloured those in using the orange Crayola Supertip marker.
I titled the calendar using my Tombow Fudenosuke brush pen (hard) and created spaces to list my goals and intentions for the month.
Finally, I added a few daffodil illustrations in the open spaces. I love how bright the page is.

April Habit TRacker
I have two trackers for this month. A general habit tracker and a bar chart to track my daily steps.
I put them both across a double-page spread, with the habit tracker at the top and the steps tracker underneath.
I listed the days/dates of the month across the middle of the page, leaving space on the left-hand side for me to write down the habits I want to track.
The steps tracker is a simple bar chart with the days of the week along the X-axis and the number of steps listed on the Y-axis.
I titled each tracker with a box that I coloured in using the same orange Crayola Supertip marker as the previous pages.
I finished the page with a few small daffodil illustrations.

Gratitude List & Blogging Page
My next spreads are my gratitude list and a page for my blogging ideas, income and expenses.
The gratitude page is super simple. I listed the dates of the month down the left hand-hand side.
I then coloured in alternative lines (leaving the ones in between white) using a yellow Arteza watercolour real brush pen.
On the right-hand page, I have left a blank space where I can write down any blog ideas I may have. Underneath this is a table for noting down any blogging income and expenses for April.
I decorated the tops of the pages with small daffodil illustrations.

April Weekly Bullet Journal Spread
I stuck to the same layout as March for April’s weekly spreads as I found this worked well for me.
I used a double-page spread for each week. I split each page into four so that there is a box for each day of the week.
This means I also have room to write down my weekly notes and tasks (I like to do this at the beginning of the week before then assigning tasks to specific days).
I separate each daily box into two so that I have a dedicated area for task and notes. I find this works well and keeps my days organised.
I drew orange boxes to title the days of the week and drew a border around the page using the orange Crayola Supertip marker.
This, along with a few little daffodil illustrations ties the pages into the theme for the month.
April Highlights Page
My final page is my monthly highlights page where I jot down any memories and things I enjoyed from the month. I kept the right-hand page blank as I don’t know if I’ll fill this up with highlights or use it for something else entirely.
The highlights page is super simple: with a title, border and one daffodil illustration. It leaves me with lots of room for writing down my memories.

And, that’s it! I hope you have enjoyed seeing my April bullet journal set up and that I have given you some Spring inspiration for your own bullet journal.
