I know, I know. We’re not long into November and here I am with my first Christmas post, sharing unique Christmas gift ideas.
In my defence, I am trying to be super organised this year. I find starting early helps to keep stress to a minimum (helpful when living with chronic illness). Not to mention, starting now spreads the cost of Christmas across more than one month.
I love supporting small businesses when I can. In this post, you’ll find inspiration for unique Christmas gifts from Etsy sellers.

1. Prints from February Stars art
I am starting with a little bit of self-promotion. In my Etsy shop February Stars Art, I sell beautiful art prints in various sizes. Most of my work is inspired by nature.
My prints start from as little as £9 and make a thoughtful gift for Christmas. A personal favourite is this cute, baby giraffe print.
I also have a limited edition print inspired by my experiences with chronic illness that would make for a special Christmas gift.
I am based in the UK but ship internationally. Be sure to order in plenty of time to ensure your prints arrive before Christmas if you are an international customer. Shipping is free to the US on orders over $35 and everywhere else on orders over £30.
2. Handcrafted Wood Turnings by Stephen Kavanagh

Stephen Kavanagh is a talented artist living in Edinburgh. He makes and sells beautiful wood turnings in his Etsy shop skavanaghart. I can vouch for their quality as I own some of his lovely pieces.
Think handmade bowls, boxes (perfect for storing jewellery etc), wands and goblets. I especially love this one.
3. Floral GIFTs by The Wallflower Fox
Emma makes the most gorgeous handmade wreaths and hair combs using real, dried flowers. In her Etsy shop, The WallFlower Fox, you’ll also find Embroidered hoops and Flower Fairy postcards. All of which make for lovely gifts.
4. gifts by the eco mermaid
If you are looking for Secret Santa present ideas or stocking fillers, I’d recommend checking out The Eco Mermaid on Etsy. The Eco Mermaid focusses on unique, affordable gifts.
Here you will find a selection of thoughtful gifts, such as jewellery, keyrings and enamel pins.
5. Handmade botanical jewellery from The Butterfly & Toadstool
The Butterfly and Toadstool make gorgeous jewellery inspired by nature with many designs featuring real botanicals. All items are handmade by Dee in her home studio in Scotland.
6. Gifts for Animal Lovers by Innabox Design
Innabox Design sells colourful, cute, quirky gifts with animal designs. In their Etsy shop, you’ll find jewellery and homeware that make for lovely Christmas presents. I particularly love this mug!
7. Plant pots by Quirky Face pots
If you are looking for a quirky, handmade gift take a look at these plant pots by Quirky Face Pots. I think they are brilliant!
8. Affordable Jewellery by Jamber Jewels
This US-based Etsy shop sells affordable, everyday jewellery. The designs are so pretty and I especially love this origami dinsoaur necklace.
9. Crystal Necklaces by Kiss THe Future
Whether you believe in the power of crystals or not, one thing for sure is that they make beautiful jewellery. Kiss The Future make crystal necklaces, bracelets and earrings.
I hope you have enjoyed this post about unique Christmas gift ideas and have found some new small businesses to support.
