I’ve always loved Autumn. It’s my favourite time of year as there’s just something a little magical about it. At the weekend I headed out with my camera for the first time in over a month to capture the beauty that the change in season brings. It was a glorious sunny morning but much colder than it has been. I love days like this though and enjoy wrapping up in cosy clothes and being out in the crisp, fresh air. Camera in hand, I headed off to a local park with my mum and our dog Oscar. I had a great time photographing Oscar and all the lovely colours of the trees, which were gorgeous shades of oranges, reds and yellows. The light was also a stunning golden colour, which made for great photographs. I couldn’t help but smile as I walked around. I’m someone who always suffers from wanderlust but this time of year makes me appreciate just how beautiful home is. I think Autumn is also Oscar’s favourite season as there are loads of squirrels about to chase!

I think these photographs sum up why I love Autumn so much. Do you feel the same? What’s your favourite thing to do at this time of year?

These photos have captured autumn beautifully. I love the way you have caught Oscar in full flight and the concentration in his eyes.
Thank you for your lovely comments Lee. I’m glad you enjoyed the photos 🙂
