What Made Me Happy In The Month Of November

what made me happy november

It’s so hard to believe this is the second-last post of the year! 2014 has flown by at an alarming rate. This month has been a toughie again for me. I’ve been signed off from work, yet again, due to fibro. However, I am choosing to see the positives in it. It’s time to finally put myself and my health first and make some real changes in my life that should see me feel a whole lot better. It’s far too easy to get caught up in the pressures of a fast-paced life and try to keep going when you feel like everything is crumbling beneath your feet. It’s no way to live and absolutely nothing is more important than your health. Not even work.

I’ve had a lot of luck coming my way this month too though, as you will see with the things I write below, and I am very grateful for it. I’m also being super organised and already planning for Christmas. I have started doing my Christmas shopping online, which is so unlike me- normally I am way too unorganised to order things online. I am actually looking forward to Christmas this year and I think feeling ahead of the game is key to this. It pays to be organised as last-minute stress should be avoided at all costs. Here’s some things that have made me happy this month:

♥ NFL Sundays and spending time with friends.
♥ Watching Jurassic Park with my husband for nostalgic purposes and genuinely being a little bit scared haha.
♥ Having a very relaxing session of Reiki.
♥ I purchased some polymer clay and have enjoyed experimenting with it.
♥ Having The Two Fairies kindly send a gift to my amazing husband, who thoroughly deserved a treat considering all he does for me.
♥ My amazingly supportive family has made this month a whole lot better 🙂
♥ Discovering the book “Suffered Long Enough” by Dr. Rawls. It has given me a much needed boost reading it.
♥ Speaking to Dr. Rawls on a Skype call. I really appreciated his kindness and support and it’s good to know I have him as a contact.
♥ Winning a £50 F&F Clothing voucher and spending it wisely on Black Friday so that I got £80 worth of clothes for £10- win!
♥ Coming up with an exciting new project with my friend. My lips are sealed at the moment but once we get it up and running in a few months I’ll be sure to tell you all about it.
♥ Having the support of the amazing and wonderful ladies who are a part of our Facebook support group Butterflies & Hurricanes. So grateful to have these kick-ass women in my life.

  1. I’m so behind on reading blogs. I’m glad that Nov went so well for you, it’s always great to win things! And to find things that can help you. I know that what you’ve picked up from Dr. Rawl’s book will really help you. Keep up the good work!

    1. Thanks Julie. I am very hopeful it will help me, fingers crossed!
