I can’t believe that six months of the year have been and gone! I say this in pretty much all of these posts but I definitely feel like 2014 is flying by. I hope that everyone is feeling that little bit better now we are into summer and getting some warmer weather and much needed sunshine (though that hasn’t always been the case here!).
♥ Having dinner at my in-laws, we had yummy home-made Chinese food.
♥ Visiting the Isle of Mull to see one of the dogs I trained on an after-care visit. It was an amazing trip!
♥ Spa day with my Mum at The Scotsman Hotel in Edinburgh, with lunch and a couple hours of shopping afterwards.
♥ Hungarian meal at my friend’s flat.
♥ Discovering the TV Show ‘Orange is the New Black’.
♥ Taking photographs at Aberdour Castle with a friend and teaching him how to use his camera.
♥ Selling my 600D camera and upgrading to a shiny new camera. I was so excited to drive through to Glasgow with Ross to purchase it.
♥ Photographing The Kelpies.
♥ Taking my friend’s portrait to be shown alongside his biography at an art exhibition.
♥ Setting up my new blog Donna Grant Photography to share my photographs. I also have a facebook page.
♥ Nights in with friends.
♥ Doing mock drafts to practise for our NFL fantasy football league.
♥ Getting one of my photographs of Oscar my dog put on canvas for our spare room.
♥ Re-arranging our home so we now have a ‘studio’ (read corner of a room where I can photograph people haha).
♥ Avacado pasta, it’s amazing!
♥ Listening to Call or Delete on the Radio 1 breakfast show.
♥ Managing to stay positive even when my body is giving me hell.
♥ Reflexology sessions.
What made you happy this month?

I have to agree about the speed that has taken this year away. It feels like 2014 has zipped by faster than any year previous, and I’ve not done enough to savor it.
