More Information About The Vital Plan Restore Program

I am so excited about the “Fibromyalgia Recovery Package”. I can’t even begin to tell you how thankful and grateful I am that Vital Plan have generously offered the chance for one reader to win a month’s supply of the Restore program supplements, a copy of Dr. Rawls’ book, plus access to the Restore course (offering all the help, encouragement and support you will need). Not to mention they are also offering copies of the “Suffered Long Enough” book to the winner of the “Ultimate Spoonie Gift Package” and 3 runners ups.
If you have read my blog over this past year, you will already know that I am a big fan of Dr Rawls, his book “Suffered Long Enough” (read my review here) and the company he founded called Vital Plan. I have personally been following the Vital Plan Restore Program since January of this year and I can highly recommend it. You can read about how the Restore Program has personally helped me here (plus all of my other posts relating to the protocol can be found here).
An Interview With Dr. Rawls
To bring you some more information about this fantastic prize, I recently interviewed Dr Rawls to ask him about his book and the Restore Program. Dr. Rawls suffered from fibromyalgia and Lyme disease himself for a number of years and has since recovered. He now dedicates his time to helping others achieve the same.

1. What was your motivation behind writing the book “Suffered Long Enough” and for founding the Vital Plan brand?
Writing was therapy. As I was sorting out the pieces of what causes fibromyalgia and what it takes to recover, I wrote it all down. As a physician, I felt a duty to share that information with others, first with the book and then through information posted on the Vital Plan website and in the Restore Program. Of the two, I’ve found that the Vital Plan Restore Program is the most effective way to get information across. I can continually update and add to the information. I also will continue to look for innovative ways of making the program user-friendly.
2. What improvements can someone suffering from fibromyalgia expect to achieve through following the protocol set out in the book?
The level of improvement depends on the severity of illness and the effort the individual is willing or able to put forward toward recovery. The Restore Program guides the way through the entire process, step-by-step. Most everything improves by following the guidelines and taking the supplements. I can’t guarantee total wellness by the end of the program (though most everyone gains significant improvement), but people who go through the entire program will understand exactly what it takes to regain a normal life (and do it for a fraction of the cost of a specialty fibromyalgia clinic).
3. What are the most challenging aspects of recovering from fibromyalgia?
Embracing a totally new and different approach to life. You must become very proactive about your health and your recovery.
4. In your clinical experience, what are the factors that can prevent a patient from recovering from fibromyalgia?
Not embracing the aspects of change necessary to create a healing environment within the body.
5. Many patients feel misunderstood and sometimes let down by the medical system. What improvements would you like to see in the treatment of chronically ill patients?
Patients often feel let down by the medical system because they are asking the system to something that it is not designed to do. The medical system is very specifically designed to deliver acute care; nothing more. It has always been this way. It approaches the problem of chronic disease by managing it acutely every day with drugs. This never results in wellness. The only way to overcome chronic disease is by reducing the primary causes and enhancing the healing system of the body. This is better done through programs like the Restore Program and with the healing properties of herbs. The two approaches are actually complementary. One of the things I like to do through the program is help people understand how to better use the medical system.
